My dad had gone back to Surin about 4 years before my mom went back. He was very lonely and he tried to become village chief, because of the power and the money, but he lost. He had said that if he lost the election he would become a monk so he did. He is still a monk now after more than 7 years.

I went to live with a friend I knew from school. My friend did a lot of drugs and she tried to get me to try but I did not want to. We partied together and had a lot of fun.
